I find two porcelain dolls my grandmother told me in the late 70's early 80's?
They have two daughters, he had a flowery blue dress and the other with a purple flowered dress. They had hats and corsets, below their bodies were cloth and they had shoes black porcelain, they are different from other dolls porcelain Victorian style that I saw in that china is white, not at all, and their faces are thinner and their bodies are longer. They are not on the stands. My grandmother always ordered items in limited numbers and I think these dolls came from Readers Digest. Anyway, I regret not having mine as they were lost after I moved away from home and I try desperately something similar for my daughter. By the way clothes were made of fabric, not bright at all and the hats were of the same material. There was a blonde and brown, they were sisters and I think even had names. If anyone knows what I mean please tell me where I can find. Have mental image is the best I can do.
