Six films Perfect Redneck Date
Let's make one thing perfectly clear, right: redneck date movies, for the most part, are not being made today. Your average chick flick is something like Sex and the City – okay for most redneck women, but not what is said to appeal to the redneck in it.
This gives a clear advantage for the redneck man: the only absolutely great films on DVD only. This means she has to go home to see – or have to go to yours. Need I say more?
Out of respect for men, there will be Thelma and Louise on this list, and the films contained all include at least something that appeals to men.
1. Gone with the Wind: This must be the centerpiece of his collection of redneck date-movie, If you can bear the length. This film is full of romance and drama and comedy and action – is the original Hollywood, for all tastes. Because it is a movie three hours, plan a whole night around. Dine while looking in the first half, then in the intermediate move material and replace your dinner with your drink favorite while relaxing on the couch.
2. Steel Magnolias: Well, this is a little chicken-Flicky, but winning is a guarantee for it, and if not do anything stupid yet to ensure a second date. Steel Magnolias Southern women are on solid support each other, and although there are no car chases or action sequences more potent than Dolly Parton's hair being teased, you probably will enjoy it.
3. Anything by the Duke: You'll love this, and with John Wayne, archetypal strong man, she just should melt. If you want a great love story, try The Quiet Man, for something a little more intensely male, test Gallo Cogburn. If she is a military lover – and a lot of mediocre women have loved ones in the armed forces these days – go to some of his war films.
4. Most pre-1960 classic romantic film: Start with Casablanca, and move through all the films of Fred Astaire / Ginger Rogers. If you include Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant, Errol Flynn or appreciate. It is an amazing film, however, and were impressed with their understanding of women.
Not all of these are for every man redneck woman. You will discover when you start going through them, even many of the women-oriented attention. And if at least one of these in his first appointment, you can go with the movie car chase ye-haa in the second.
