Help, I'm a pack-rat!?
I am 28 years old and have too many things! When I left my house at 18 all I took with me. I have all of my childhood cases. I like clothes and I started collecting all sorts of things. I present old given to me, like stuffed animals, porcelain dolls, angels, pictures, cosmetics, footwear ….. list goes on and on. Many things I have now, I see my old self. For some reason I grew up near some clothing I'll never be able again ….. or possibly in May I told myself that I had to go through all my belongings and remove knick-knacks, souvenirs, and old clothes. It may be just me but it is difficult to dispose of items that hold so many memories. Suggestions?

The Most people have something they collect, but in your case, you cling to everything. I have the same problem with clothes. I had a baby and convinced myself that I would return the same clothes in the year so I kept everything. HAHA What a joke. I am almost the same size, but my body has completely changed shape, here's what I did: First I have lived and separated according to their size. The minimum size I gave up. The next size up, I gave myself one or two required to keep (related equipment). The next size up is my goal if I saved over him, but I got rid of things that were not my favorites back when I used to wear. Once every few months I go through again and try out the clothes from the top (largest size). I re-sort and get rid of a couple more each time. Every time I let go a little more like a cigarette smoker trying to quit smoking. : PI sell clothes online or give them to Goodwill or charity, and it makes me feel better to let go. Here's my best strategy / EVER learned rule for people who like to save: any store no more than 2 units of depth / height. If you can not get to a memory of tote to put things in / get things, then you will find another corner tostufff it in. thus making a rule that you can not block the storage of storage. If you need more space in the special place for the vessels, then it is time to consider whether you need the vase new enough to get rid of one of the ancients. The second rule I have is that while I care for emotional / Collector 's value should be on display. What is the point of having a box that you can not even do? If you collect porcelain dolls, you should have a special shelf for them, and follow the first rule again. You should be able to see them all and if you get a new one, he must replace an old one. Keep the special things you SPECIAL. Take good care of them and honor them. Everything the rest is only an irrational comfort. Keep repeating that to you, and someone other may actually have or need to this object as you sort. Make reasonable goals so as not to overload yourself! Do a little at a time so you do not panic and go on a shopping spree to feel better (that do worse).
